WebJul 13, 2024 · I've tried creating a custom widget (subclass of StatelessWidget) which will be a wrapper to TextFormField and that accepts a width property. In the build method, I put the TextFormField in a column and add my own Text widget to that column. The custom text should have shown depending on the state of the FormField. WebTextField's cursorWidth has to be taken into widget's width calculations. Since there's no way to get default cursor width from TextField class, I checked its code and added a new constant to FitsTextField class. Don't forget to pass it to TextField's constructor:
