Northbridge overheating

Web30 de ago. de 2007 · The last possibility is one that seems rare, but I was thinking maybe the northbridge was overheating. I've replace the heatsink for it with a slightly larger one and used Arctic Silver 5 on it. Still, it was just as warm as the stock one and it's usually warmer to the touch than even the video card or CPU heatsinks. WebFor some reason one of the sensors on this Asus Extreme 3 motherboard is reading 280 degrees Fahrenheit.
