Phospho cofilin
WebCofilin promotes depolymerization of actin filaments and phosphorylation of NH 2 -terminal 3rd serine residue results in inactivation of actin-binding and actin-depolymerizing activity of cofilin, events that probably lead to stabilization of the actin cytoskeleton ( Agnew et al. 1995; Moriyama et al. 1996 ).
